Vinay Iyengar joined Two Sigma Ventures in 2020 and is currently based in San Francisco. Previously, he was an investor at the NYC office of Bessemer Venture Partners. After studying CS and economics at Harvard University, he worked as a quantitative trader at GS, an ML engineer at Intel, and co-founded a startup while at the Harvard Innovation Lab in 2015. At Bessemer, he focused on enterprise software, machine learning, marketplaces, and developer tools while also launching a diversity initiative called the Bessemer Fellowship program. In 2020, he left Bessemer to help co-found the West Coast Two Sigma Ventures office, continuing to focus on investments in enterprise software, machine learning, marketplaces, and infrastructure software, where he is working now.

Some of his portfolio companies he's invested in during his time at Bessemer include the following—Astorian, Dashlane, Discord, Habana Lanes (acquired by Intel for $2B), PagerDuty (NYSE: PD), Pipedrive (acquired by Vista for $1.5B), etc.
